Have you ever experienced an "𝗲𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗸𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁" in your career? That moment of elations when finally everything makes sense and/or you find an out-of-the-box solution that brings peace? The truth is....insights are your best allies! But where are they when you need them? 😶
💡Firstly, you feel that little, sudden elation because in that precise moment, an unusual connection between two or more maps in your brain has produced a little rush of dopamine and that's why having insights feels great (remember when you watched a movie with a twisted, incomprehensible plot and suddenly it all made sense giving you a little elation? That’s an 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁!).
Insights are precious because they also broaden our perspective of what's possible, but we have no control over them so we cannot rely on them.... or maybe we do?
📙 According to John Kounios, 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼: by understanding the neuroscience of insights, we can create the best condition for insights to appear when needed.
