Napoleon Hill? He’s the Greatest Self-Help Scammer
Posted on 5th January 2023

Did you know that the most cited author in the self-help industry, 𝗡𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗹, is a colossal scam? Actually, he was more than just a scammer. He was a 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗮𝗻.
🙈 Not many people know about it and that's ok. What is not ok, though, is that coaches, gurus, speakers and motivators keep citing him and his "philosophy" without even questioning who he was and how he came to his conclusions - let alone how reliable they are.
🙈 While some of the "principles" illustrated in his best-seller "Think and grow rich" can be considered interesting, the book is full of nonsense. Yet it is worshipped as the ultimate truth in business and life.
🙈 This happens because too many people don't care about researching the source of the information they share. Exactly what happens with fake news, indeed.
🙈 This attitude has largely contributed to fuelling the scepticism many people feel towards self-help literature which, instead, offers some real gems. Too many myths and wrong/outdated information still get shared in this industry generating confusion and disappointment.
🤬 Napoleon Hill's "principles" on how to get rich are easy to sell to the mass... but for the sake of the credibility of the whole industry, let's do some research next time we want to cite other authors in our books, posts, articles and sessions.
Feel free to share it and don't miss Matt Novak's research on the untold story of the greatest scammer of all time - read this here.
